Tamas Czuper

I am a sound designer and musician with more than seventeen years of experience in the creative industry delivering projects to clients including Lacoste, Speedo, Berghaus and Canterbury.  My professional portfolio with showreel can be found here:

After obtaining my Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education I have taught professional workshops and lectures. As associate lecturer at LSBU I’ve been responsible for module leadership for; Sound Design Specialism (film and game), Introduction into Game Audio, Introduction into Film Sound on the Music and Sound Design BA (Hons) and Sound on Film and Sound for Film and Television modules on the Film and Television Practice BA (Hons), managing the delivery and assessment of these modules. In addition to these I’m a BA Media Technician and also run workshops in UCL about Sound for Film (pre and postproduction) and Game Audio in Unity (recording, editing and implementation).


I have acquired an extensive understanding of student experience that is personalised and addresses cultural diversity, developed advanced management skills that enabled me to facilitate innovative learning, and have engaged with continuous professional development to address the needs of everchanging creative industries. 


In my professional work life, I have produced live audio recordings of large events and performances with (SOOCMEDIA), projects including Liverpool Sound City Music Festival (including Pete Doherty), Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards at Indigo O2 Arena (including Baby Metal), Island Records 50th Anniversary (including Grace Jones), live recordings of The Dillinger Escape Plan, Sister Sledge, Shaggy, Nazareth, developed sound design for advertising films, short films and installation works. Recently I explored 3D sound design theory and practice including VR and AR sound and Ambisonics.
